Stopped in for breakfast on way to Greeneville. Friendly E TN hospitality, fantastic breakfast, great service & excellent food. Very reasonable prices & ample portions for my 210 lb frame Nothing fancy, just great friendly service & good ol southern comfort food - exactly what I wanted. Been back several times & will be back again.

We had biscuits and gravy. I wish I would've took pictures. The brown gravy was delicious! I also had the mountain omelette with home fries in it which was great! Service was awesome! Staff is attentive and friendly. This place does get busy but I finally went there on a slower day. If you want hometown food this is the place. I live 35 mins from here but well worth the drive!

First time eating here with my family. Food was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. The pricing is very fair for the amount of food and quality. I would definitely recommend this resturant to others and we would definitely come back. They even have kids meals with plenty of different options. Great experience!

We are in town visiting family and came here a bit before noon, hoping for breakfast. Unfortunately they stop serving breakfast at 11 am, but we decided to say for lunch anyways. We were so glad we did. Everything was perfectly cooked! The mushrooms were breaded and crispy, as were the tater tots, fried zucchini and fried okra. The mushroom Swiss burger was topped with brown gravy that both my husband and son raved about. I got the chicken fried steak and it flavorful and perfectly cooked. We will definitely come back for breakfast later in our stay if we can. I highly recommend!

This place didn’t disappoint!! Had not ate at this place in nearly 25 years and decided to drop in for supper and glad I did. The food was wonderful and the service was the same. The menu has something everyone would like. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended!!

So here we go again folks me and my wife heard about Ma & Paw”s family restaurant it’s located at 6853 Asheville Highway, Greenville, TN. This is a spot that’s been there for quite a while. We were told it all the locals go there. We could tell they have home cooked food and I had the hamburger steak smothered with brown gravy, mushrooms, onions and before I go any further, just remember they do charge $.50 per item that you add onto the hamburger steak. I got three sides a bowl of pinto beans a monkey dish restaurant type filled with collard greens which were very good pintos were bland, but a little salt and pepper and a dash a hot sauce and some fresh onions. Does the trick every time, I had coleslaw and they do make homemade cornbread muffins in my wife had a vegetable plate with four vegetables and she also had a cornbread muffin she had bowl of pinto. Beans, She had a scoop of real mashed potatoes with chunk of potato and white country gravy, a monkey bowl of beets and a basket of fried okra. Everything tasted really good. We enjoyed ourselves and they give you a lot. Trust me they give you a lot. You get your moneys worth there and it is good home cook food and like I said, the locals go there that’s why we went, I think y’all would enjoy the place and only if you leave the parking lot and go to the left I believe it’s like maybe 1015 miles down the road and you’re in Hot Springs North Carolina. Nice I would definitely recommend this place y’all enjoy and I’ll put up some pictures too. and I just like to add that they do keep the place fairly clean. It looked really good. The day we went we enjoyed ourselves and we will be back. So folks Google has asked me to give you some clues as what to order on the menu now mind you all this was our first time there so what we showed on Google was what we ordered for the first time the locals we talked to said the catfish is wonderful. The pork chops is wonderful, and a lot of people are just saying everything is good because it’s homemade The best I can tell you is give it a shot. I don’t think you will be disappointed like I said we will be back.

Incredible place to eat. We stopped in for lunch on our way to Greeneville. Everything was so good we stopped back for breakfast when leaving town. We live in North Georgia but will go out of our way to eat there again - it was that good. Outstanding service and food.

I absolutely loved it. The best greasy spoon in Tennessee. Jennifer the server was a doll. We'll be going back there and y'all should too! It's got such an extensive menu, it took us forever to choose what to eat! Don't dress up. This is a southern neighborhood classic y'all. But you should definitely go! Loved it!
